About the event
This is a honey extracting class. This class is super fun! You can take this class if you need to learn how to do extracting for your own hives OR if you just want to have a SUPER fun time and get hands on with honey extracting at the farm!
We will teach when its the right time to extract honey and what to look for. We will take you in the apiary and show how exactly to get your honey supers. We will learn how to uncap, the different tools used for that. How to extract with different extractors. How to strain/filter. How to transfer to bucket, how to bottle and MORE! This is a very fun very STICKY class!
We will be n the apiary for a period of time so please wear long pants ( NO holes NO yoga pants) and close toe shoes. If you have…
